Madurai And Rameshwaram Await

Day 1- Madurai - Arrival

Arrive in Madurai, where an agent’s representative will receive you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Your day is at leisure and you can spend it as per your desires exploring this temple city. You can visit St. Mary’s Cathedral, a 20th century neo-Gothic construction, which is an architectural delight. Or, you can also explore the Nagamalai, Yanaimalai, and Samanar Malai mountain ranges on the outskirts of the city. Besides, the historical and cultural significance of these ranges, they also offer splendid views of the city. Come back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.

Day 2- Madurai - Gear up for temple hopping

Day 3- Rameshwaram - Transfer and local sightseeing

Your first stop for the day is the Ramanathaswamy Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples and is known for its grandiose architecture. The itinerary also includes visit to the Ram Jharokha Temple and Agnitheertham. Next, visit the Adam’s Bridge or Rama Setu, a chain of limestone shoals between Pamban Island and Mannar Island. You will also be taken to Dhanushkodi, the beautiful ruin at the south-eastern tip of Pamban Island. Come back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.

Day 4- Kanyakumari - Transfer and local sightseeing
