Day 01- Darjeeling: Welcome to Darjeeling

As you reach New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be received by one of the representatives of the concerned tour agent who will help you in getting transferred to your hotel. Take joy in the scenic road journey as your vehicle zips past the picturesque landscape. Upon your arrival in Darjeeling, complete the check-in at the hotel and then relax as the remaining part of the first day is all at leisure. You can stay inside your hotel room and take rest or go out and utilise the free time to explore the nearby attractions on your own. The first day Darjeeling tour itinerary ends with a delectable dinner at the hotel, followed by a homey overnight stay.

Day 02- Darjeeling: Full day to explore

Wake up early and freshen up as there is something even feistier before your daily breakfast, that you wouldn’t like to miss out. You will be taken up the Tiger Hill to witness an everyday natural occurrence, yet too charismatic a spectacle to miss - the sunrise. On a clear day, you will get to witness gorgeous view of the sun coming out from behind the snowy peaks of the great Himalayan range, turning the colour of Mt. Kanchendzonga to pinkish-gold. So, that’s the moment when you can just hold your breath and go on clicking pictures. After this, while returning to the hotel, you will also get to visit the 135-year old Ghoom Monastery, the Batasia Loop and the famous War Memorial dedicated to the martyred soldiers of Indian defence services. A piping-hot tea at a tea stall adds to the charm of the beautiful morning in Darjeeling. Return to the hotel as it’s time for you to refuel yourself with some wholesome breakfast at the hotel. Relax for a while and then the second day’s Darjeeling tour itinerary now takes you out to visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute where not only the tourists, but also the students and volunteers come over to take part in various adventure courses.(Thursday closed). Next, you will visit some other famous and must-visit attractions in Darjeeling which include the likes of Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Thursday closed) and the Tibetan Refugee Centre (Sunday closed). Last but not the least, a stroll at the Mall Road and shopping in the market gives you the opportunity to revel in the hustle and bustle of this hill station and collect some souvenirs to take home. As the Darjeeling city tour ends, you will return to the hotel where a hearty dinner awaits you. Enjoy a cozy overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03- Darjeeling : Time to depart

Have a healthy breakfast at the hotel and then complete the check-out formalities as the tour ends and you will be transferred to Bagdogra Airport or NJP railway station for your onward journey back home.
