Itinerary
Travel Schedule
Day 1- Bhuj: Arrival
With Day 1 starts the journey of your Rann Utsav full moon package. Upon arrival at Bhuj, you will be met by our representative who will drive you to the pre-booked hotel. Once you reach the hotel, complete the check-in procedure and then head to your room. Take your time to relax and get refreshed. After you get refreshed, prepare to leave for a sightseeing tour. Enjoy your visit to Aina Mahal and Prag Mahal and marvel at their architectural beauty. Both of these palaces are centuries old. Later, visit the Swaminarayan temple and Hamisar Lake. After a half-day tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2- Bhuj: Sightseeing
Day 2 of Kutch Rann Utsav package takes you on an extensive sightseeing tour of Bhuj. This will let you explore every nook and cranny of this city in Gujarat. Start your day with a delicious breakfast and prepare to leave for a full-day tour. First on the list is a visit to Mata no Madh. This village is home to the famous Matanamadh Devi Maa Ashapura Temple. Then, you will be headed to another beautiful village, Narayan Sarovar. The rest of the day includes a trip to Koteswar Mahadev Temple, Kutch Museum, and Mandvi Beach. Later, return to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 3- Dhordo: Transfers & Sightseeing
On day 3, you will leave for Dhordo. Savor your breakfast and check-out from the hotel at the reception. Then, you will start your journey towards Dhordo which is 80 km away from Bhuj. It takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the journey. You will be taken to Kalo Dungar that is the highest point at Kutch. This point provides awe-gasping views of the Rann of Kutch. This place is also close to the Pakistan border, therefore, only a limited area is available for access. After this, you will be taken to Dhordo Camp. Check-in at the camp. Later, watch the sun go down over the white desert. The rest of the time is free for you to spend at leisure. End the day by residing in the camp and enjoying a goodnight’s sleep.
Day 4- Bhuj: Departure
Day 4 is the last day of your Rann Utsav packages. Savor a wholesome breakfast and then go out to enjoy the scenic beauty of the pristine white desert. Then, check-out from the camp. You will be transferred back to Bhuj’s airport or bus/train station from where you will depart for home. With this ends your journey to the Rann of Kutch during Rann Utsav.
