In our 3 Nights 4 Days Rameshwaram Madurai package, we will take you on a tour of the beautiful towns of Rameshwaram and Madurai, the cultural pride of Tamil Nadu. Itinerary
Travel Schedule
Day 1- Arrive at Madurai
Arrive at Madurai Airport or Railway Stations and get transferred to your new hotel. Relax your muscles at the hotel and freshen up. Then, you will head out for an amazing tour across the city. The first destination will be the Sri Meenakshi Temple. Then, you will be taken to the Thirupparankundram. It has a Thiruparankundram Dargah that is located on top of the Thiruparankundram Hill. Then, you will be taken to the Azhagar Kovil. Then, you will be transferred to Pazhamudircholai. This is a temple that was built under the rule of Thirumalai Nayak. Then, you will visit the Koodal Azhagar Temple. This temple has a Dravidian style and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. After the tour across the temples, you will be transferred to the hotel. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2- Arrive at Kanyakumari
Wake up to some delicious breakfast at your hotel and head out for some explorations around the glorious town of Kanyakumari. This coastal town also goes by the name of ‘Cape Comorin’. The town is filled with lots of small shops that constitute the town market. Today, you can spend on your own by visiting some wondrous locations with your friends, family, or with your partner. Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 3- Tour across Kanyakumari
Wake up to some yummy meal and head out for a tour across the town. The first stop here will be the Kanyakumari Temple. This temple was built during the 8th century. It has a huge Navarathri Mandapam that is surrounded by painting and carvings. It is also host to several festivals such as the Car festival and Navarathri festival. Then, you will be taken to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Then, you will be taken to Suchindram. It is a famous pilgrimage town in Kanyakumari. Here, you will find uncountable brilliant temples and dedicated devotees. Then, you will be taken to the Thiruvalluvar Statue. This a 133 feet tall standing statue of a famous Tamil poet and saint Thiruvalluvar. It is situated on top of a small island and is a get destination to visit to get picturesque views. Post-journey, overnight stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 4- Trivandrum: Departure
Have a yummy breakfast and check out of the hotel. Then, you will be transferred to Trivandrum. Here, get to go on an optional shopping spree and enjoy your day. After this, get a transfer to the Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station for your journey back to home.
