Itinerary
Travel Schedule
Day 01- Gangtok: Arrival and Leisure Day
After arriving at the airport or NJP railway station, you will be immediately transferred to Gangtok without any further delay. Upon your arrival in the beautiful city of Gangtok, head to the hotel you would be staying at. Check-in at the reception and head to your room to relax after the day’s journey. The remaining day is free for you to explore on your own. Enjoy this time as per you please. The overnight stay is scheduled at the same hotel.
Day 02- Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel today, you will be going out for an excursion to the Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Located at a high altitude, the Tsomgo Lake welcomes you with a spectacular view of mountains around it. After visiting Tsomgo Lake, you will be proceeding towards the Baba Mandir which is located at an altitude of 13,200 ft. If the Tsomgo lake remains closed due to the landslide, an alternate tour will be arranged in its place.
Day 03- Gangtok Local Sightseeing
After breakfast today, we will be starting out Gangtok local sightseeing tour. During this tour, you will visit some of the most prominent local attractions without which your West Sikkim tour will be incomplete. We will start with Tashi View Point today and will continue our trip by visiting Ganesh Tok, Flower Show, Cottage Industry, Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery and Banjakhri Falls one by one. At the end of the tour, you will be returning to the hotel for spending the night.
Day 04- Transfer to Pelling via Ravangla
After having a scrumptious breakfast today, you will check-out of your hotel and will start traveling to Pelling via Ravangla. Pelling is known for being a picturesque town in West Sikkim that provides you with the opportunity to escape the urban chaos. After reaching Pelling, you will check-in to the hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 05- Pelling Half-day Sightseeing and Transfer to Darjeeling
We will start our journey towards Darjeeling after breakfast today. On the way to Darjeeling, we will visit different tourist attractions including Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake, and Kanchendzonga Waterfalls. No matter which part of the country you are from, you must be aware of Darjeeling tea. So, welcome to a plantation retreat of Darjeeling.
Day 06- Darjeeling Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, get geared for a sightseeing tour in Darjeeling. During this tour, we will be visiting important points of attraction including Tenzing Rock, Tea Garden, Ropeway, P.N. Zoological Park, Japanese Temple and so on. At the end of the day, you will be coming back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07- Tiger Hill and Departure
You will be going out early morning today to see a spectacular sunrise from the Tiger Hill. While coming back to the hotel, pay a visit to Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After having breakfast at the hotel, you will check out from your room and will be transferred to the airport or railway station depending on your itinerary. As your West Sikkim tour package ends today, you will have a lot of memories to cherish for rest of your life.
